Building on our Plug and Play philosophy, HMWS continue to design, manufacture and supply overmolded power and data cable configurations across a broad range of applications in mining, civil and construction, industrial, autonomous systems and emerging technologies.

The HMWS overmolded cable/s are tamper proof assemblies that combine the cable and connector into one single, seamless piece. Not only does an overmolded cable add to the aesthetic appeal, but offers exception durability, water and shock resistance, 360-degree strain relief, and reduces potential installation errors

With the growing expectation from our customers requiring greater performance and cable life, all whilst simplifying the functional requirements of serviceability and reliability, HMWS continues to expand our DT and HDP range of overmold cable assemblies.

DT and HDP Overmold Cable Assemblies offer:

• Standard and bespoke configurations

• Power and/or data (CAN and Devicenet) cable options

• High aesthetics and quality

• Reduced human error during installation due to one single bonded unit of cable and connector

• Durable, long-lasting and abrasion resistance, capable of withstanding extreme environmental conditions

• High level of protection overall against outside forces like temperature swings, moisture, oils and greases, rubbing, impacting, and shocking

• 360-degree strain relief and enhanced pull strength. The majority of movement between the cable and connector occurs at the cable exit

• Straight and 90 degree configuration providing additional protection and strain relief

• Tamper-proof cable assemblies by encapsulating components beneath a sealed resin

• Easy installation and replacement, installing or replacing the cable, not the entire harness

• Easy re-ordering with every overmold cable assigned a part number
